You book through us; the rental itself runs on Camplify's platform, which is what gives you comprehensive insurance, NRMA-backed roadside and 24/7 support. Here's the short version of what you're agreeing to.

01How booking works
Thank you for choosing Offgrid Campers WA. You browse the fleet and start a booking on campervanhireperth.net.au, but every rental is processed and managed through our booking partner, Camplify. When you book, you're connected to Camplify's secure system, which gives you comprehensive insurance, nationwide roadside assistance and 24/7 support for the whole hire.
Because the rental is Camplify-powered, it is also subject to Camplify's full Terms of Service. Where Camplify's terms and ours differ on a booking matter, Camplify's apply.
02Eligibility & key requirements
To hire from Offgrid Campers WA you must:
- Be at least 24 years old (applies across the whole fleet).
- Hold a valid driver's licence and pass Camplify's verification process.
- Use the vehicle for private, non-commercial travel only.
- Comply with the vehicle usage guidelines and all road and safety regulations.
Our vehicles are built for self-sufficient touring on Western Australia's sealed roads and well-maintained gravel — south-west to Albany, across to Esperance, and the Coral Coast by request. They are not for off-road, 4WD tracks, soft sand, deep water or beach driving. The full route and house rules are set out on the sealed-road policy and on each vehicle page.
03Prohibited areas & activities
These are sealed-road touring campers, not expedition 4WDs. The following are strictly off-limits and not covered by insurance — taking a vehicle into any of them means any resulting damage, recovery and costs are entirely yours:
- Sand dunes.
- Beach driving — except Lucky Bay and Wharton Beach, Esperance.
- River crossings.
- Corrugated unsealed roads.
- Soft-sand roads.
- Gibb River Road.
- Canning Stock Route.
- Gunbarrel Highway.
- Holland Track.
- Nyinggulu Coastal Reserve.
- Any off-road area requiring medium-to-advanced skill.
If you're not certain a road is within policy, ask before you drive it — written approval is free and a recovery is not.
04Unsealed-road policy & additional fees
Sealed highways and well-graded gravel access to campsites are fine. Beyond that:
- Maximum speed on any gravel road is 60 km/h.
- A $150 undercarriage inspection fee applies for: any off-road driving without prior written approval; unsealed gravel roads beyond 10 km to campsites; or driving on extremely corrugated roads.
Additional fees
- Red-dust roads — $250 cleaning fee.
- Undercarriage inspection — $150 (when applicable).
These are the same limits stated on every vehicle page and at contact — there are no quiet exceptions.

06Use of the vehicle & return condition
All rentals are private and non-commercial. Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received, fair wear and tear excepted — see Camplify's Fair Wear & Tear Guide. House rules are non-negotiable: pickup and return in Perth only, no one-way hires, no pets, and no smoking inside the vehicle.
