Starlink — add it to any camper.
In WA, mobile coverage vanishes minutes outside the bigger towns. Starlink is the fix: high-speed satellite internet, roof-mounted and pre-installed on the vehicle. It's an add-on to any of our campers (a built-in option on the Wanderer 4WDs) — not a gadget you assemble. Two plans, honest pricing, and a straight answer on whether you actually need it.

- ESSENTIAL EXPLORER
$15/day · up to 50GB

Pick if: Starlink is mainly peace-of-mind and staying in touch, not streaming.
- UNLIMITED FREEDOM

Unlimited high-speed data (Starlink fair-use applies). 7-day minimum, so 7 days = $175. Drops to $20/day past day 14. Built for digital nomads, video calls and streaming on long, remote trips.
Pick if: you'll work on video calls or stream — Essential's cap would bite.

Where it earns its keep — and where it doesn't.
- WORTH IT
Remote WA, where mobile dies
Karijini, Cape Range & Ningaloo, Cape Le Grand, Coral Bay, the long Coral Coast runs — mobile is patchy-to-none and Starlink is genuinely the difference.
- WORTH IT
You have to work on the road
Video calls, uploads, anything deadline-driven. Up to 200 Mbps from a campsite days from a town — take Unlimited and don't think about it again.
- WORTH IT
As a safety net
Live weather before a remote stretch, GPS coordinates in an emergency, reaching roadside without chasing a bar of signal. Essential covers this cheaply.

Short south-west loop, or you're here to unplug
Hugging Margaret River and the bigger towns, Telstra is decent — or the whole point of your trip is to be off the grid. Don't pay for what you won't use; ask us if you're unsure.
The questions before you add it.
Q.01 Is it really "$10 a day"?
Only on the Essential plan, and only for days beyond the 12th. Honest version: Essential is $15/day (7-day minimum, so 7 days = $105); the rate drops to $10/day for any day past 12. Unlimited is $25/day, dropping to $20/day past 14 days. The longer you hire, the lower the daily rate — that's the "up to 20% off" you'll see, applied automatically. No separate discount code.
Q.02 How do I actually add Starlink to my booking?
It's an optional extra on your camper hire, not a separate product. Add it when you book the camper on Camplify, or just message us and we'll set it up against your booking. It comes roof-mounted and pre-installed on the vehicle — on the Wanderer 4WDs it's a built-in option. Nothing for you to assemble.
Q.03 Is 50GB enough, or do I need Unlimited?
Depends entirely on what you do online. 50GB (Essential, 12.5GB/week cap) comfortably covers maps, email, weather, messaging, banking and light browsing for most trips. It does NOT comfortably cover video streaming or long video calls — those burn data fast and you'd hit the cap (extra data is $2/GB). If you'll stream at night or work on video calls, take Unlimited; if Starlink is mainly a safety net and for staying in touch, Essential is the cheaper, sensible pick.
Q.04 What's the setup and pack-down time?
Effectively zero. The dish is already mounted on the vehicle when you collect it. You download the Starlink app, park with a clear view of the sky, power it on, and you're connected — usually a minute or two. There's no teardown; it stays mounted, you just power it down when you drive.
Q.05 Where does Starlink actually earn its keep — and where don't I need it?
It earns its keep where mobile dies, which in WA is minutes outside most towns: Karijini, Cape Range / Ningaloo, Cape Le Grand, Coral Bay, the long Coral Coast stretches, and anywhere you're working remotely. You probably don't need it for a short south-west loop hugging Margaret River and the bigger towns where Telstra coverage is decent — or if the whole point of your trip is to unplug. We'll tell you honestly if your route doesn't justify it.
Q.06 I only want the antenna, not a camper — can I still hire one?
Yes. You don't need to rent a camper to get a Starlink — it's available as a standalone hire for your own vehicle, remote work, an event or a property with no coverage. Two ways: message us directly for a standalone quote, or hire it through our sister service, Offgrid Internet (offgridinternet.com.au). The plans and pricing on this page are for the camper add-on; a standalone quote can differ, so just ask.
