Every camper leaves Perth packed to the same spec — counted, briefed, and signed off at the 45-minute handover. No last-minute Bunnings run, no missing pieces.

  1. Rooftop tent (or fixed bed on vans)

    Hard-shell pop-up on the 4WDs, premium 15cm medium-density mattress, breathable microfibre that washes. Sets up in under a minute.

  2. Lithium house battery

    Powers fridge, lights, USB, induction cooktop. Recharges off solar, alternator, or shore power. Three to four days no-sun autonomy on the 300Ah builds.

  3. Fridge-freezer

    Compressor fridge with freezer compartment. Cold drinks at Coral Bay, frozen meat at the Pinnacles. Locks shut on gravel.

    Induction cooktop runs off the inverter. No gas bottle to swap, no flame in dry country. Full cookware, plates, mugs, cutlery, chopping board live in the slide-out kitchen.

    Food-grade tank, pressure tap at the sink. Wanderer 2.0 ships with a built-in 100L tank and on-board camp shower.

Meet Dorian, owner and route nerd

I'm Dorian. I've lived in Perth for over a decade and spent that time driving across WA: south-west forests, the Albany to Esperance coast, the Coral Coast. I started Offgrid Campers WA in 2023 because most rentals look good online and fall apart where it matters. Weak battery systems, awkward layouts, gas bottles nobody wants to wrestle. So I configured my own fleet, the way I needed one for my own trips.

You book direct with me. I answer the phone. I do the handover. If you're a couple from Amsterdam, Dublin, London or Paris asking which camper fits a 10-day south-west loop, I'll give you a straight answer, based on what I've driven, not what's profitable to upsell.
