It's a strict policy — a small fleet can't absorb late drop-offs — but it's written plainly so you know exactly where you stand before you book. The cancellation window is what matters most.

01Scope
We know travel plans change. This cancellation and refund policy is written to be clear and fair while keeping our small fleet running. It applies to all bookings made through campervanhireperth.net.au and through our Camplify listings. By placing a booking you agree to the terms below.
02Cancellation policy (strict)
We follow a Strict Cancellation Policy. Refunds depend on how far ahead of the rental start date you cancel:
Earlier than 45 days before start
- 100% refund of the total paid, minus any administrative fees.
- Refunds may take up to 30 days to process depending on your payment method and bank.
Between 45 and 20 days before start
- 90% refund of the total paid.
- Administrative fees and booking-platform fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
Less than 20 days before start
- No refund will be issued.
03If we cancel on you
If Offgrid Campers WA has to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle unavailability, operational issues), we will:
- Issue a full refund of all payments made.
- Offer alternatives — rescheduling, or a comparable vehicle if one is available.
04Vehicle issues during your trip
If the vehicle becomes unusable mid-trip due to a mechanical fault that isn't caused by user error, and we can't provide a replacement, a pro-rata refund is issued for the unused rental days.
Refunds are not granted for issues caused by misuse, negligence or breaches of the rental terms.
05Non-refundable situations
- No-shows — not collecting the vehicle on the agreed start date without telling us in advance.
- Early returns — returning the vehicle before the scheduled end does not qualify for a partial refund.
- Policy violations — breaches such as prohibited use or negligent damage void refund eligibility.
06Requesting a refund
- Email hello@campervanhireperth.net.au (or call 0422 428 584).
- Include your booking reference, the rental dates, and the reason for cancellation.
- Allow up to 30 days for processing — typically 7–10 business days for cards, up to 14 for bank transfers.
Bookings made on Camplify also follow Camplify's Cancellation Policy — request changes through the same channel you booked.
07Rescheduling, force majeure & updates
Rescheduling. Prefer to move your trip rather than cancel? Contact us at least 48 hours before your rental begins. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may involve a small admin fee.
Force majeure. Refunds may not be granted for events beyond our control — natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions, road closures or extreme weather. We'll do our best to reschedule your booking or issue a credit in those cases.
Updates. This policy may be updated periodically. The current version is always on this page.
